Hello! Taller Torrents is a multidisciplinary studio with experience in both commercial and non-commercial projects, often connected to the cultural sector. Their work spans different media, from analogue printing to the digital world, with the aim of blurring the boundaries between design, art and technology. The studio is formed by David Torrents and Emerson Yashin. David Torrents graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, and also studied at Elisava School of Design. Before founding his own studio in 2002, he worked in Amsterdam, Budapest and in several studios in Barcelona. Emerson Yashin holds a degree in Design from Elisava. He has also completed Advanced Vocational Training in Graphic Design at EASD Llotja and holds a Higher Education Certificate in Advertising Graphics from CIC Elisava. Today, both combine their work as graphic designers with teaching at BAU and CIC Elisava. Since David began his career as a graphic designer, and later together with Emerson, museums have been a recurring setting for their projects, both in the field of communication and in spatial graphic design.
